What are the start and finish times for the open courses?

The course starts at 9.30am. Participants usually arrive between 9am and 9.20am for a chance to meet other participants over coffee and biscuits before the course. Courses finish at 5.30, however on the last day, in order for people to get a 'head start’ on the traffic, courses may finish an hour or so early.

What is the dress code for your open courses?

There is no dress code for our open courses. We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed so most people tend to wear casual/smart clothing.

How many people will be on the course?

We limit participant numbers to 12 and 8 on our facilitation skills and workshop design course to maximise your learning.

Are refreshments included in the course fee?

Morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea are provided on all of our open courses. If you have any special dietary requirements please inform us and we will ensure that we cater for you accordingly.

Are your open courses residential?

Our open programmes are not residential. We do however have a preferential rate of £77.25 per night (inclusive of bed, breakfast and VAT) with the local London Gatwick Mercure hotel. Can people contact me while I am at your Gatwick Airport Training Centre?

People can contact our customer service team on +44 (0)1293 568817 or info@techniquesforchange.co.uk and a message will be passed on to you. In an emergency the course will be interrupted, otherwise you will be given your message during the next break.

Is parking available at your Training Centre?

We provide complimentary parking in a car park adjacent to the training centre. When you arrive at Timberham House, you will pull into a car park with a two hour parking restriction. Please then register your arrival in room 126 (on the first floor) where we will issue you with a car park pass for the duration of your stay with us.

If I arrive by public transport how will I get to your training centre?

The train station is located at the South Terminal, which is a short taxi journey to Timberham House. It is not possible to walk from either the south or North terminals as there are no pavements on the perimeter roads at the Airport.
